Dispatch temporarily suspended

It is with deep sadness that we have chosen to temporarily suspend dispatches until the new year

As we are sure you are aware the Royal Mail industrial action throughout November and December 2022 has caused severe disruption and delays to parcels and letters moving through the Royal Mail network. After closely monitoring PokéDecks parcels which have entered the Royal Mail network since the end of November the following points have come to our attention:

There is no consistency to the speed of delivery regardless of the service used.

To date, the lengthiest delivery time noted for an order dispatched via Royal Mails tracked 24 service amidst the ongoing disruption has been 15 days.

Items are not being scanned as they progress through the Royal Mail network.

As parcels are not being scanned when they reach local delivery points it is not possible to obtain accurate information regarding the location of our customers orders. We understand that this may cause stress and worry when there are no tracking updates following collection.

Despite declaring that Tracked 24 items would be prioritised, this does not appear to be actioned.

There has been severe disruption to both Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 services - in some cases Tracked 48 orders have arrived before Tracked 24 orders which entered the Royal Mail network at the same time.

We are currently experiencing a huge increase in customer enquires and understand the stress caused by these delays. To allow us to effectively manage the PokéDecks parcels currently within the Royal Mail network and offer support to customers affected by courier delays we will not be dispatching any further orders until week commencing 02/01/2023. We feel this decision allows us to protect our customers from distress whilst allowing adequate time for the chaos to settle so that we can better judge expected delivery times and resume the speedy services we pride ourselves in providing.

If you have been affected by the Royal Mail delays we appreciate your understanding and patience as we cannot speed up the delivery process.

We invite you to browse our stock as normal and purchase items as a new year treat to kick start 2023, and encourage you to read the temporary modifications to our Delivery terms of service. This details information regarding delays and claims.
